OVENWARE
The firing process in the oven will create the stoneware and porcelain.
This process takes place in several stages and involves numerous hours of firing (8-13 hours). In the first stage, all the material in the oven is elevated, in a controlled manner, to temperatures that typically exceed 1000°. In the second stage, the pieces are cooled in a quick and controlled manner first and then in a slow and controlled manner, still inside the oven.
Until a piece reaches its final state, it is normally subjected to various firing processes (in the oven, the piece is subjected to a single firing, except for decorative pieces). The resulting products (porcelain and earthenware) have high resistance, safety and durability - ideal features for intense daily use, including washing machine and heating in a domestic oven and microwave.
